Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Deboistech IT Solutions collects when you use Debo Labs, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
- Account: your name and email address, and a hashed password (we cannot read it) or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
- Learning: which labs and quizzes you finish, your certificates, your daily streak and answers to the daily question, and your settings (for example whether you appear on the leaderboard).
- Payments: the plan, amount, date and voucher of each payment, and the reference from the payment service. Card, UPI and bank details go to the payment service, not to us.
- Student verification: the college email address you verify, or the note you send to ask for approval.
- Technical: your IP address and basic request information, used to keep the service safe (rate limits, abuse prevention) and fix errors.
How we use it
To run your account and the labs, grade your work, issue certificates, take and confirm payments, send the emails you ask for (login codes, password resets, student verification), show leaderboards (first name and last initial only; you can hide yourself in Settings), and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
Who else handles it
We use a database and an email service in the cloud to run Debo Labs, and Razorpay to take payments. They process data for us and for their own legal duties. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
Cookies and storage
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's storage for things like your light or dark theme and which notices you have seen. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The pages load their fonts from Google Fonts.
Lab sessions
A lab runs in a temporary terminal. What you type and create there is used to grade the lab and is deleted when the session ends.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your account and progress while your account exists, and payment records for as long as the law requires us to keep accounts. To see, correct or delete your data, or to close your account, write to support@deboistech.in from the email address on the account.
Security and children
We protect accounts with hashed passwords, per-learner isolated lab sessions and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure. Debo Labs is for learners aged 13 and over.
